FALL RECREATION

What is it?

Our Fall Program is for children from Kindergarten through Grade 6. The purpose of the Fall Program is to provide a basic understanding of the game of soccer and introduce the basic skills and principles of the world’s most popular sport in a positive, fun oriented environment.

The registration fee is $50.00/child, $95 for two children and $135.00 per family. The children will be provided with a soccer shirt, shorts and socks. You may purchase shinguards ($9.00) and/or a soccer ball ($14.00) at the time of registration.

The program runs for eight weeks starting the first Saturday after Labor Day and concludes in October. This year play begins Saturday, September 13, 2008 and ends on Saturday November 1, 2008. Coaches will call their parents directly. Parents should expect to get notified by your child's coach during the week of August 25, 2008. 

Session 1 games - 3rd & 4th grade girls is 9:00 -10:30
(*practice Monday nights)

Session 2 games - 1st & 2nd grade girls / 3rd & 4th grade boys is
11:00 - 12:30
(*practice Tuesday nights)

Session 3 games - Kindergarten** / 1st & 2nd grade boys is 1:00 - 2:30 (*practice Wednesday nights)

Session 4 games - 5th & 6th grade boys & girls is 3:00 - 4:45.
(*practice Thursday nights)

*Practice times (usually 5:00 - 7:30pm) are up to your coaches discretion.
**Kindergarten is co-ed.


Registration period is from mid May to September
Registration forms are distributed to Bradt, Pinewood, Jefferson Schools etc..,
and are also available at the RYSC concession stand.

Registration forms can be mailed or will be taken on the following days and times:

Saturday June 7, 2008   9am - 12pm @ RYSC fields

Saturday June 14, 2008   9am - 12pm @ RYSC fields

(Also, sample uniforms will be available to view.)

      IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

PICTURE DAY will take place on TBD. Coaches will distribute information and the schedule to their team.

FIELD SETUP/COACHES CLINIC will be held TBD. All coaches and assistant coaches are required to participate in field setup from 9am - 11:30pm. Following a complimentary lunch, a coaches' clinic will run from 11:30pm - 12:30pm. Uniforms and rosters will be distributed to coaches in attendence after the clinic.

FIELD TAKEDOWN will take place after the last games on Saturday, November 1, 2008. Please make an effort to stay and assist us.
