February 13, 2007 Meeting Minutes – (A. Caschera) Minutes were reviewed. A motion was made by D. McDermott and seconded by T. Ward to approve the minutes as submitted. All in attendance were in favor. Motion carried.

Treasurer's Report - (B. DiBella) Bob presented the treasurer's report and reviewed the summary and transaction report and stated that the account remains in good shape. A motion was made by L. Maliszewski and seconded by D. McDermott to accept the treasurer’s report as submitted. All in attendance were in favor. Motion carried.

Spring Tournament – (D. McDermott) Dave sent an email updating everyone on current registered teams for our tournament. Mohan will not let us use the football field because it’s in bad shape. They will let use the soccer field; but it has no lights. Therefore, we need to get lights for at least two fields. Both Dave and Ben will work on getting lights, getting as many donated as possible. There’s the possibility of getting the Union College fields off of Erie Boulevard. After much discussion, it was decided to have another tournament meeting, which will be held on Sunday, March 25 at 4pm. It was also agreed to have field set up on Saturday, April 7 at 9am. Help is needed to prepare the fields, the concession stand and the rest rooms. Help will also be needed on Thursday, April 19 at 5pm to set up the lights and stock up the concession stand and any last minutes set up.

Travel Team – (A. Caschera) Everyone provided an update on their teams along with registration.

Old Business – Terri once again mentioned the CDYSL Mandatory coaches meetings. She stated coaches must attend these meetings. Schedules and outdoor procedures will be discussed. All meetings begin at 7:00pm. Mon, March 26 – U8 & U10 Only – Sand Creek Middle School; Tues, March 27 – U12 & U14 Only – Colonie Community Center; Wed, March 28 – U16 – U19 Only – West Wing Cafeteria Colonie High School; Thur, March 29 - All ages missing assigned date - Colonie Community Center. Referee checks for the outdoor season will be distributed to each coach at our tournament. Picture day will be held on Saturday, March 24. Dave sent an email with the times for all teams. Family Fun Night is being held Saturday, March 24 at 5pm at Afrim’s in Colonie. Afrim’s notified the Club that due to the Latham Dome collapsing, the two fields will be available at 7pm instead of 5pm.

Spring Soccer – (L. Maliszewski) Registration was held for Spring Soccer and we have 62 kids plus another six online registrations so far.

New Business – The club has secured Draper on Wednesdays and Thursdays – 6-9pm. If door is locked, push security button and someone will answer. Identify yourself and they will let you in. Soccer shouts and ads are due this week. Dave is heading the equipment committee and he has cones, soccer balls, ice backs, pinnies. Send him an email with what you need and let him know the size of soccer ball. The Club will once again host the AC Milan soccer camp. Registration for returning players will be $245; new players are $295. The camp will be held July 30 – August 3, 2007 at our soccer fields.

The next meeting will be held on April 10, 2007 at 7:30pm at Columbo Club. With no other topics to be discussed, a motion was made by L. Maliszewski and seconded by B. Hirsch to adjourn the general meeting at 8:30pm. All in attendance were in favor. Motion carried.
