June 13 Meeting Minutes – (A. Caschera) Minutes were reviewed. A motion was made by L. Maliszewski and seconded by N. Piccirillo to approve the minutes as submitted.
All in attendance were in favor. Motion carried.

Treasurer's Report - (B. DiBella) Bob’s presented the treasurer's report and reviewed the summary and transaction report and stated that the account is in very good standing.

Travel Tryouts – USAI tryouts are being held July 18 & 19 and August 29, 2006. RYSC tryouts are being held July 25 & 26 and August 30, 2006. An email went out to everyone asking for assistance. We should be okay with help at the registration. Next, possible coaches were discussed with some changes from the last meeting: Also, discussed were possible coaches for next year for RYSC / USAI. Angelo received a letter from the Canary’s summarizing their season. Paul Canary has expressed interest in coaching, possibly U14G at Club level. Dave is speaking with Tara O’Keefe, from Latham. She is currently a paid coach in Latham. If the club wants to attract good, qualified coaches, we need to raise the registration fee to pay these coaches. Dave will inform everyone on Tara’s decision. Also mentioned is the fact that the club will select head coaches, but head coaches can select assistant coaches. Also discussed were the coaches’ evaluation forms. It was decided that parents will be asked to fill out these forms every other year.

Fall Rec – (D. McDermott) Dave mentioned that so far we have 450 registrations. The deadline is July 15. Dave spoke with Malcolm from SCORES regarding uniforms. Malcolm said he should have enough uniforms like last year. Dave will meet with the Rec coordinators on Monday, July 24 at 7pm at Dave’s house.

SAY – Dave has all the information regarding both insurance companies and he’ll compare both. It does appear that the club is leading towards SAY. Coverage will be for the fall, spring and Board of Directors insurance with SAY. Liability on the building will remain with the current insurance company. SAY also has coaches’ training, referee training and has special prices with KwikGoal. If the club signs up with SAY, Dave will order four pairs of big nets and will order small nets, as well.

Draper – (J. Lomonaco) Joe updated everyone on gym space at Draper. They are willing to allow us to practice Mondays through Thursdays. In lieu of a monthly payment, the club will make a donation. We can tailor the schedule to fit ours. Dave and Angelo will talk with Blackwatch regarding gym space at Center City and Front Street. Discussion was held regarding other locations for possible gym space.

CDSYL – no report. Giulio stated that it is very important for clubs to attend meetings.

Summer Camps (A. Caschera) Angelo stated he has 25 kids for the mini camp and 45 for the AC Milan Camp. It was decided that the club continue to mark the small fields throughout the summer since some teams have scheduled pick up games with their players. The president of the Niskayuna club has expressed interest regarding our USAI club. Niskayuna has a policy that states if a player is not a Niskayuna residence, they cannot play on the A team. An update will be given at a future meeting.

Next Meeting - The next Board meeting (Board Members only) will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at 7:30pm at Columbo Club.

With no other topics to be discussed the meeting was adjourned at 9:35 pm.
